Where to find Valor points , Justice Points and Tier 14 vendors in Mists of Pandaria
As I have mentioned before in my blog, I have not played much beta at all. In fact most I’ve played was about 3-4 hours total time played max. But I like to explore and am always curious about stuff and to explore. I don’t want to spam trade in day of release “where are JP/VP vendors and how to find them”. Therefore I wanted to share this information with the World of Warcraft community and maybe help other World of Warcraft players with their game time and make their wow life easier
Mists of Pandaria Justice and Valor points vendors as well as Tier token vendors are NO LONGER located in Stormwind. At least not in beta. They are now located in Mists of Pandaria at Towning Steppers a zone at Niuzao Temple. If you’ve read my post on How to get to obtain Grand Expedition Yak mount then this Niuzao Temple is not far from there. If you have just landed in Mists of Pandaria then you need to open your map, see where you are at, zoom out on map and make your way to Towning Steppers zone.
It was easy for me to get to it and I did not even die. Just keep riding on road and once you’ll arrive at Niuzao Temple, make a sharp left turn once you’ll enter the gate. Now that’s where it gets tricky. There are Panda guards (good npcs) and there are bad guys lvl 90 there. The bad guys are aggressive. I guess if you aren’t level 88 yet, your best bet would be to kite one of aggressive mob to an NPC guard near by and let them deal with it.
Being a druid it was easy for me. I just stealth through and then once I past hostile guards, it was a home free run. You need to go up the stairs and up the stairs some more till it’s a long narrow wall type of path. You can mount and ride it half way then take a left turn again on terrace like platform and you’ll see in corner 2 Panda NPCS standing. One sells Valor points / T14 gear. Other sells Justice Points gear.
Fast gear or not so fast?
Here’s where it gets tricky. It’s not going to be as easy to go farm Justice Points and buy yourself a blue quality item. This time Blizzard wants you to grind some reputation before you can obtain those items! I don’t know how long it will take for you to grind certain reputation to certain level, but be ready to spend some time on doing a lot of daily quests!!!
If you are a daily quest junkie (someone who does dailies with ease and enjoys doing them) – Great. You’ll enjoy that experience. If you are someone who has real life outside of wow and plays only x amount of hours per day, expect some grinding.
Criteria you have to meet to obtain Justice Point/Valor Points gear
- Must be level 90
- Must have at least one of new Mists of Pandaria Reputations at Honored level.
- Must have at least 1250 Justice Points to obtain something cheap like (a blue cloak)
Note : *** You can no longer obtain tabards at Friendly reputation, equip them and grind reputation in dungeons. There’s no such thing for Mists of Pandaria. You obtain new reputation ONLY through daily quests! – Yes folks, Blizzard wants you to play for as long as you can so expect long reputation grinds (I don’t know how long it will take to get from Neutral to Friendly and Friendly to Honored).
*** If you want blue quality gear – minimum reputation required is Honored. For epic quality gear – minimum reputation required is Revered.
Here are some screen shots of gear from vendors :
It’s good to know that Blizzard has removed daily cap in patch 5.04 but still it all depends how of a hardcore player are you? Like I said earlier I get “burned out” by doing too many dailies I need a change of scenery once in a while. So I am mentally preparing myself for a long grind lol. Also have to work on professions and leveling pets etc…Lots of things to be working on just would need to find time and be able to balance real life with virtual game
