So you want to know how to make 10,000g a day before Mists of Pandaira? Great. Then read on.
There are many ways to make gold in world of warcraft right now. It all depends if you have the drive and if you are willing.
On this video I am showing a great spot for farm Embersilk cloth. Personally I make bolts of cloth right now and stack it in bolts of 20 to my alt’s guild bank. Of course you may say : “It’s a great time to sell the cloth right now” and yes, you are correct. But I think you can even get better return on your investment if you’ll wait! Right now on my server which is Stormrage US PVE Embersilk cloth doesn’t sell for much. On different days of the week I looked at sales prices and highest I’ve seen was 68g per stack (20 cloths). The well known Embersilk bag right now on my server sells for 270g each. It isn’t much considering that to make an Embersilk bag it takes the following :
Every expansion is like Christmas for world of warcraft players. People who’ve quit the game multiple times (myself including
) will be returning and wanting to experiment with new Monk classes and new Panda races and just see the new content. So ladies and gentlemen, get ready and stack up your alts guild banks with materials. I have a feeling that these Embersilk bags will fly off AH shelves like hot candy comes MOP and for good prices (anywhere from 500g to 1000g per bag). Of course it’s all about “supply and demand”.
Farming those troggs in Deepholme is a huge plus if your character is a tailor.
Every cloth you can loot counts
So venturing into Deepholme as a tailor with your treasure finding potion is a must. Some people go on their tanks to “farm” cloth but why would you go on your character who’s not a tailor, lose the bonus to get extra cloth and call it “farming” ?
When I did this video I farmed 32+ tiny treasure chests. Amazing isn’t it? What are those Tiny Treasure Chests you are speaking of? You might ask. These are the tiny boxes that drop from troggs in Deepholme ONLY if you have your Treasure Finding Potion on! Without it, you won’t be able to see nor loot those chests. What can Tiny Treasure Chests contain? You may ask….
As you can see on my image on left, this chest had 2g, 56 silver, 11 Embersilk cloths (that’s 35g75 silver worth of cloth), 3 Elementium ore (that’s 3g) and green lvl 78 gloves . These gloves can have random stats. Ones I looted had agility/crit/hit/stamina – awesome stats for lvl 78 gloves I believe I sold this pair of gloves for 278g. Now let’s add all this gold from ONE Tiny Treasure chest I looted : 319g 31 silver I received from ONE Tiny Treasure Chest. Not bad for one Tiny Treasure Chest huh?
Other cool items Tiny Treasure Chest may contain are :
- Design: Reverberating Shadowspirit Diamond
- Formula: Enchant Bracer – Agility
- Bulwark of the Scorned Man
- Formula: Enchant Bracer – Major Strength
- Formula: Enchant Bracer – Mighty Intellect
- Ashes of Youth
- Embersilk Cloth
- Elementium Ore
- Volatile Air
- Abatement Cannon

Having farmed here for a few hours, I am getting anywhere between 35-45 chests/ hour.I get 550-650 Cloth / hour. And about 15-25 Greens per hour.
I haven’t had any issues with getting less. Also finding the greens just sell at 100/150 buyout, which surprised me greatly. All in all good tips!

For me it varies. Yesterday I farmed them again and got tons of cloth to get my achievement (Preparing for Disaster). I only got about 12 chests.
Thanks for sharing your tip

How many mobs are you killing, I was killing / looting 20 a minute. I think it depends on class.

I try to get many groups like when 2 packs are next to each other is the best. At times there’s a competition so getting large packs at times is a challenge.

Yeah I am farming as a lock, so able to pull 3 packs every pull. Its a tad good. I am looking forward to testing aoe looting with this, I think 50% of my time was looting, and ideally it will drop to 10% or less~

wow 1k cloth per hour? That’s very impressive! I need to farm cloth to make all Embersilk bags on my alts and their banks. Lots of my alts still use 16 slotter ones. Time to get ready for MOP

The best way to farm cloths in Deepholm is to get up early in the morning ( 5-7 AM) so you’ll be probably alone, so all the packs will be yours. My highest score in farming cloths was 1700 per hour which is very nice

Wow! That’s very nice! Unfortunately they nerfed the drop rate of cloth and mobs. I went this weekend and got only about 400 bolts in an hour and only looted 10 chests
Btw what addon is that that shows you how many cloths you got?

They haven’t nerfed the droprate. It is still fine.

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Bless you!

Great post. I uncover some thing quite interesting on several different blogs routinely. It is constantly inspiring to view content from some other experts and find out if I can not add a good slant to my very own blog. I’d like to use some with the content on my blog if you don’t mind. Of course I’ll generate you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
